We began Term 2 this week with a reflection on student progress and achievement during Term 1. On Monday, students were asked to write a letter to me about their feelings on first term, as well as their goals for 2nd Term. The goal of this assignment was to have students reflect on their own strengths, work habits, and areas where they can use a little improvement. Students were also asked to set goals for improvement and higher achievement for Term 2.
This week, PSHS English 2 students are also taking a practice ELA MCAS exam in class, which will help students prepare for the March tests.
Meanwhile, students are well-underway with their Shakespeare research papers. We will start our study of Macbeth next week.
